Hiking at HSBC TreeTop Walk

Although Singapore is very small, and no mountain climbing, only some small hills, but we still can find some reserve park for weekend hiking, breathing fresh air. The HSBC TreeTop Walk (HSBC TTW) is one of the hiking routes in MacRitchie Reserve Park, and is a free-standing suspension bridge connect 2 hill (Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang) in MacRitchie. There are some animals and insects live in this reserve park, if you take a look of the surroundings very carefully.

We started our hiking in the morning around 8:00am and non stop walking till 11:30am, at the beginning we didn't plan to have such a long walk, because we missed the exit and tried to find main road. We were exhausted after this long walk, and after that we had a Thai Buffet Hot pot at Coca Restaurant. This really supplied us a lot energy after the long hiking, but still strongly recommended to hike. It's a place where you can escape from the city life and enjoy the fresh forest air, hog the nature.

韋宣弟弟的浪漫求婚

從小我就有一群有特別友誼的青梅竹馬們,是老爸結拜兄弟的孩子們,每年固定在過年時候大家會聚在一起,打牌看電影出去玩,算是很特別的一份感情。但是隨著大家長大結婚，未來能相聚的日子又更少了。韋宣是老爸結拜大哥的二兒子，和幸樺一樣大，今年他也傳出喜事，不僅考取公費留學，又獲得美人妻的下嫁，算是喜事連連。更酷的是，喜事還上了新聞，因為求婚的過程實在是太特別了。在這裡祝福他和玫君都能彼此互相扶持、幸福快樂。

話說跟我家小民告知CC買了Lime(萊姆)打算學習土耳其式沙拉作法，只是星國Lemon太貴以Lime代替，引起小民的好奇。

Dragon Boat Festival 端午節 (19-Jun-2007)

Although this year I still can not go back to Taiwan and enjoy the traditional Taiwan Rice Dumpling (Zongzi), I still purchased famous rice dumpling in Singapore - "Kim Choo Kueh Chang" to release the homesick feeling. It is located in east coast road, and need to queue for purchasing before the Dragon Boat Festival (or DuanWu Festival). I queued around 30 minutes yesterday for purchasing the Salty Chang (Pork) and Kee Chang, luckily not disappointing me, it's good (although still can not compare to Taiwan Rice dumpling).

Great Singapore Sale 年度敗家節

星國一年四季都是夏天，根本沒有換季大拍賣，為了刺激消費，把六月份訂為Great Singapore Sale (GSS)。幾乎所有商家都會打折，愈接近六月底，價格也就愈來愈低。而星國政府在今年七月份就要調高GST消費稅，由原來的5%調為7%，一次漲了2%，連民生必需品都得利用六月份補個貨。

更讚的是，HSBC信用卡居然還有刷卡簽單滿新幣50元，可以用1元新幣購買電影票、或是Pizza Hut的披薩、Isetan禮卷等。既可光明正大的敗家，又可以看1元電影！這周看Shrek3，下周來看Ocean Thirteen吧！嘿嘿，Great Singapore Sale真是年度敗家節啊！
