新加坡折扣季 Great Singapore Sale

每年六月份是新加坡最令人期待的季節，當然不是氣候宜人所致，是讓我敗家的折扣季又來了。從化妝品補貨(Vichy打八折)、衣服鞋子的大打折都是我不放過的重點。不過當然也要謹記只買缺少的，不缺的就不要亂買。星期六沒有去商場血拼，但去了趟IKEA買居家用品。因為本來住在大房間是雙人床，現在變成小房間單人床，所以得去買些床包、穿衣鏡等。再加上我喜歡房間不關門通風，所以也得去買個門簾給自己一些隱私。可惜IKEA離我家太遠了，來新加坡快兩年還是頭一遭去，只能努力地補貨啦！

Every June is the most expected season in Singapore, of course not because of the comfortable weather, it is the expense season - Great Singapore Sale. From cosmetics to shoes and clothes are all on my shopping lists. Still need to remind myself only purchases the stuff I need not because of cheap. I didn't go shopping on Saturday but I still went to IKEA for some house ware shopping. Because I live in small room now, it's a single bed not the one I slept before (queen size bed), I need to buy some bed sheets and pillow cases. Except that I like to open my room door for better air flow, so I need to buy a portiere for better privacy. The pity thing is IKEA is too far away from my place, this is the first time I went after the 2 years stay in Singapore.

豆漿火鍋 Soy Bean Hot Pot

本來想去找個補習班補補英文會話的，Lisa說為什麼不找個室友來住，既可省點房租又可以多說點英文。想想也是，就開始積極努力地在各大租屋網上貼租房廣告，期望找個短期室友來試驗一番。趁著還沒有室友前約了大伙到家裡吃火鍋，以後可能就比較不方便找大家來家裡坐坐了。

豆漿火鍋的材料簡單，豆漿與高湯的比例各半，再放入自己喜歡的火鍋料，就是一道很棒的火鍋，也不用加任何的調味。除了火鍋外，還拿出上次買的茶碗蒸調理包，再打個兩顆蛋拿去蒸就跟日式料理店賣的一模一樣。Lisa也帶了中藥和小雞腿燉了當歸補血湯，而Flora也貢獻了Sausage，一人平均分攤十元新幣就撐到不行，甚至還有飯後起司和白酒，偶一為之也很不錯。

I want to find a cram school to learn English conversation but Lisa recommended rent the room for foreigners, not only I can reduce the rental payment and also have more chance to speak English. I think what she said is really a good idea, and then post ads on many rental website hope to find a short term flat mate to have a trial. Before I found a flat mate I invite Taiwan colleagues to have a hot pot dinner at home, after all I can not invite every one to my place if a flat mate is found.

Soy Bean hot pot is a simple dish, you only need to put half soy bean milk and half chicken soup (or pork soup), and put every thing you want to eat into the hot pot. Except it, I also prepared the steamed eggs (just like the Japan steamed eggs), Lisa prepared the Chinese herbal soup and Flora brought the sausage. It only cost every one S$10 to have this special dinner, we even have after dinner cheese and white wine.

印度調理包 Indian Instant Food Package

有次去Mustafa採購了幾包印度調理包，接連好幾天都以它當主食。假日在家不知要吃什麼又不想出門時，調理包就派上用場了。把調理包加熱(若一次吃不完就放冰箱分好幾次吃)，再烤個土司沾著吃，配上一杯咖啡打個奶泡放在上面，西印調和，也是個特別的一餐。

Last time I went to Mustafa with Flora and Lisa purchased some Indian Instant packages, especially in the weekend if very lazy to go out for lunch, just heat the instant package (if one meal can not finish it, then freeze it in the fridge) with toast, and have a cup of coffee with foam. When western meet India, how special it is.
